Human behavior follows an individual logic. It becomes a little clearer when you put yourself in the other person’s shoes.

What this man was really doing in the water wasn’t really clear to me.
°
He sits in the water and periodically throws stones into the water that he has picked up around him while sitting, without changing his sitting position.
°
The throw followed a certain regular rhythm and so after a while I knew exactly when the next throw would take place.
°
We are in Nice, France and I am walking and taking photos.
