The rubber tree

When I first saw rubber trees in nature as large trees in India, I was very impressed and thought of the rubber trees that are offered as houseplants in our latitudes and are never lucky enough to grow into trees.

Here in the mild climate of the Côte d’Azur I saw one of these beautiful trees again in all its splendor.

With shiny leaves and full of health.
°
The name La Côte d’Azur is a creation of the poet Stéphen Liégeard, who published a book of the same name in 1887 in which he was inspired by the azure waters.
