
Between heaven and earth

The vault of heaven would appear to fall upon the viewer if Atlas were not carrying it on his shoulders.

In Vienna I keep looking over the facades, up to the roofs and cornices.

In addition to the Art Nouveau and Baroque buildings, the monumental buildings along the Ringstrasse have shaped the city’s architecture since the city wall was torn down.
Vienna often reminds me of Paris because of these buildings from the Belle Époche, but Vienna is much smaller, quieter and more relaxed than the French metropolis influenced by Haussmann’s urban planning.

I continue my walk through Vienna and can’t decide which of the cafes or restaurants I will go to today.
From a purely culinary perspective, Vienna is always worth a visit.
